  1. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL MY FRIENDS HERE ON THE Orbx FORUMS HOPE YOU HAVE A SAFE AND GREAT TIME. Don - and the doggies -Max, Maggie, Fifi, Oliver (Ollie), Stella and Louise (lulu), geez I nearly forgot the wife Sharon. 😄
  2. Apart from having health issues off and on, I also have been having issues with MSFS since the last update. I'm getting a "ding dong" or "bing bong" noise periodically when I fly, which hasn't been very often right now, this also causes the sim to freeze . MS support haven't been able to fix it, and I don't have the time or patience to deal with it, so my flying is pretty much on the back burner for now. I may leave it there and just try it every so often until the 2024 version comes out, and go from there. But I'm still here lurking, checking up on you guys to make sure you are behaving. 😄 So, no I haven't quit Orbx, just getting here when I can. Don
  3. Thanks everyone for the comments, and I'm sorry for the late replies, but unfortunately my health has been pretty bad of late. Let's hope better late than never. Don
  4. Had to keep an eye on him during class, he had his eye on a poodle, which was really funny, she stood underneath him. 😂
  5. Thanks Iain. He graduated 😁 with honors. Even won the heart of his trainer, she said he was the biggest Lab she had ever had in her classes. I realise this when he tries to climb on my lap. 50 kilo's is a bit heavy. It was worth it all in the end.
  6. He's a gorgeous boy Rob, except at two in the morning when he decides on a barking session. He has a large chunk of my heart. ðŸĨ°
  7. The sentence is short if you plead guilty, John.😀
  8. I got dragged to doggie school last Sunday. I finally convinced my wife that Max HAD to be trained. Not that I walk him a lot, I call on my grandkids to do that, I love walking him, but I don't have the strength to control him anymore. I need him to walk quietly beside me, not career off down the street with me in tow. It's fifty kilo's of flying Labrador, if you've seen those comic sketches of dogs dragging owners down the street - yep that's what I look like ðŸĪŠ. Just hoping he doesn't take off and wrap me around a lamp post. Even the trainer said, "wow that's a big strong dog". And so, it looks like I'm going to doggie school for the next five weeks. Right now, I'm trying to convince my son he should take him with my wife. Not having much luck. He's a beautiful boy, love him lots, pure bread blood lines from the UK. The breeder had the sperm flown in from the UK so you can probably appreciate his value. He is the daddy of the puppies I posted photo's of some time back. Anyway I've finished waffling......... Max Thank for looking/reading 🙂 Don
  9. Managed to get a flight in this week, Kennedy to Buffalo. Just two guys in the TBM930. Would like to be flying more - but thats life, enjoying it when I can. Leaving KJFK Thanks for looking Don
  10. Really nice shots Carlos 🙂 Don
  11. HI Pete, Thanks for the link, some good info there. Unfortunately the way I am at the moment, I have to do a bit at a time. Yep I removed the default Milford Sound and the three airports, but not sure I the SU13 upgrade that you mentioned, might need to find that and do what I need to do. Thanks for helping out, I really appreciate it. 🙂 Regarding NZMS the pic shows what I get on booting it up Regards, Don
  12. Hey Matt, yep the 737 is a mystery, I'm not spending any of my limited time chasing its origin. NZA is fine, looks great, it's just the start up, and once I load another aircraft it's all good. Just waiting on NZA to give me an answer/fix, just cose it bugs me. The toolbar thing is another MSFS mystery, if I shut it down, then next time it usually works/appears as normal. The thing that pee's me off, is the time wasted sorting this sh*t out when one could be flying. Don
  13. I don't know mate, at 85 me Covid frazzled brain aint workin so well. When I saw it, my immediate reaction was that I wasn't aware that MS had released a 737, and now obviously by all he head scratching comments, they haven't. I log everything I buy even freebies, and I can't find a source, so I guess it will remain a mystery 🙂
  14. Downloaded the latest MS update last week and finally got to try it out. I still can't get it to work straight out of the box. Small things and to most not a big deal I guess - things like no tool bar, either one MS or Parrell 42, not there anymore, as I said little things, but after a while it just irks me that I can't get a update that works straight away. NZ's new you beaut software Milford Sound, the aircraft are either upside down or in the bushes when it opens, it fixes itself when I select another aircraft, but shouldn't happen. Yes I have had a conversation with the developer. I have a question about the default 737. I flew it today and found that a lot doesn't work, it wont track with HDG, Auto pilot is useless, doesn't control anything, even with a flight plan installed, activate it and the a/c takes a new unprogrammed heading, and so on and so on. No problem with the Airbus any of them, well what I've checked so far. BAH! Well that's my whinge for today, got better things to do with what little time I have, I'm off to fly something that does fly as it should. Don
  15. Quick short flight I managed to have YBCG to YBBN, just to let you know I'm still around Thanks for looking Don
  16. Great shots Mike, like 'em a lot 😀
  17. Yep, had the same4e thing happen to me on a number of occasions, never had this happen in P3D, had very few problems there. With MSFS Ihave had continuous control problems, the days it happens I just give up and don't fly. Don
  18. Hi Matt, never thought of that, thanks Don
  19. Hey Pete, thanks for the advice, have seen the pics the guys have posted and it looks great, give me something good to get back into it again
  20. Wonderful shots Pete, like them a lot 🙂 Don
  21. Excellent shots Carlos, like the cloud effects in the last three Don
