  7. Took the King Air 350 for a short flight, YPAD to YMML been a while since I last flew this girl Thanks for looking Don
  8. Thanks Graeme. Feel sorry for your wife, a face full of sand - not good, she having "grits: for dinner? What sort of dog is Zimbee, big, medium, small. A good size by the sound of it. Don
  9. He's too gorgeous mate, and the ego, very bruised when you have to have two ladies get you back on your feet, and very nice ones at that 😉
  10. Yeah what's a bit of skin, 🙄 the fingers a bit of a drama, going for an xray this week. Didn't like the docs comment " yeah that looks a bit nasty" after he stopped laughing when I told him how it happened.
  11. Couple of weeks ago, I took Max for a walk - normally okay. He is a bit of a handful as he likes to pull when something gets his attention, like sniffing a post when....well you know. Anyway, I stopped to let another guy with his little dog walk by,, yet all good, until Max spotted a stray dog further down the street, it had got out of somebody's yard no collar or tags. Max decided to go and say hello which caught me off guard and off balance, the next thing I'm being dragged along the footpath on hands and knees by a 50kilo black Labrador in full flight. If it had not been for two lovely ladies who stopped and ran to my aid, I might have been still there, as I couldn't get up. End result two skinned knees, two skinned elbows, a bruised hip and a dislocated middle finger on my left hand. IS he in the sh*t, no, he was just being a dog, and part blame to me, because of my health I don't get to walk him a lot, and he gets pretty excited when he goes out. I paid $500 to have him trained so I expect him to have better manners. But, check the photo, he's big, he's black and beautiful - I love him even after the loss of skin. 😀 Thats his girlfriend you can just see a bit of she's gorgeous too.
  12. Fantastic Andreas, love the clouds in #2. Don
  13. Excellent shots Iain, you can't beat NZ for scenery. Don
  14. I did a couple of flight from Toowomba YTWB TO The Gold Coast YBCG. about 112 nm. To those who aren't familiar with Australia terrain, YTWB is is bush terrrtory Nothing special here, just proving I'm back in the air. 😁 The order of these is all wrong, for whatever reason the system, wouldn't work correctly, and I cou;ldn't space them and they went up in a incorrect order. Anyway....here they are, I'm flying again. And the little Honda Jet.
  15. Back then boetie, it was flightsim, what's that?
  16. NIce shot, and very familiar territory Iain. Don
  17. Great shot Iain, like it a lot Don
  18. Thanks Iain, yep it's been dragging on a bit, but I think I've turned the corner - hopefully, I guess at 86 it doesn't happen overnight.
  19. Thanks Adam, yep up and about again sort of, just hope it lasts this time.
  20. Hi John, thanks, yeah too bloody hot, and the humidity - phew. I actually did do a couple very random very casual paints, in between naps. These meds they put me on wiped me out. Thank God I finished the course. Hopefully in the next couple of days, I might get to fly - I have SWS PC12 that I haven't had off the ground. Something to look forward to. 😁
  21. Yep, and when they went out of date, my uncle used to drill a hole in the corner and we'd hang it behind the dunny door and wipe our bums on all the people and relatives we didn't like. 😄 After the war, there was no such thing as toilet paper so you did the best you could. 🙄
