  1. Hi Carlos, within MSFS, go to the Content Manager and search for the Canadian World 11 update. From that, way to the right, you can click on a button with options and then UNINSTALL anything from the update you want. This is what I have done since the early days in MSFS.

Thanks Landon.  Just updated Canada and got the City download and it’s a disappointment on my system, horrific scenes of melted buildings.  Very very very bad.

Yeah, I have read lots about that on another sim site. I have downloaded and installed the Canadian WUII, but I have not flown too much in it. The melted buildings might get better after a few weeks, as the Photogrammetry is based on streaming, so right now the MS servers could be getting a little overloaded as MSFS users are downloading the update and flying around Canada. We saw that with the Italy update a few months ago. Anyhow, that is just what you get with the PG...there are good and bad things that come with it.

  3. Hey guys, the FSW C414 has several options when it comes to GPS and GTN. Besides the PMS GTN, it will also fit TDS GTN. Each one of those is good, they both have nice options, so I suggest you look at both (if you don't have either one yet) and then decide which one works better for you. The TDS GTN will also fit all of those aircraft that Paul mentioned. Also Don, the C414 product page does mention, in bold letters, that BOTH the PMS or TDS GTN options require you to own either or both of those in addition to the aircraft. Don't feel bad though, I know it can be frustrating when we miss details like that and it leads us to have to decide on making an additional purchase. It happens to the best of us :D I would link it here for you, but since that is not an Orbx partner, I don't want o push the envelope too much on this discussion ;)

Hi Landon, I plan on spending quite a bit of time with it today. Would you consider this to be a Study Level for a small aircraft, I seem to see a lot of varied comments about

    that.

Yes Don, I would say that. Maybe not quite A2A level as far as complexity goes, but close to that level, and it keeps getting better.

  5. Love this aircraft Don! I bought as soon as it was available for public beta, and was flying it at different times all through that period. The developer was great with update after update taking in all the customer feedback. It is a fun aircraft to fly in MSFS, and @Jack Sawyer you will like that it IS pressurized so can fly at higher altitudes.

  6. I have a very robust system, and I have had similar results as Nick above has had with SU10. Granted, I have not done enough flying in SU10 MSFS to fully say, but so far, with DX11 or Dx12 and TAA, they both perform similar for me on my system. The good news is that in both cases, I have nice, smooth performance. I run a Ryzen 5800X3D and an EVGA 3090Ti, but I run MSFS in 1440P on an Samsung 49" Odyssey Super Ultra Wide QLED Gaming Monitor and I do NOT have all my setting maxed out. I do fly the Fenix A320 a lot, which is one of the more demanding aircraft addons thus far for MSFS, but even in large, busy airports I get smooth performance. My settings are a mish mash of Ultra, High and Medium. One of the biggest keys to success I have found with MSFS is doing as Nick said above, and that is setting my frame rate to 50% of my display refresh. Now, my display IS a gaming focused display, and it has a very high refresh setting (240Hz) so that helps. But with this strong hardware, I still don't expect my sim to be able to run at the highest settings. It's just asking too much right now IF you want great looking visuals, complex addons AND smooth performance. You still have to test and find the best balance for your hardware and settings. The good news is that I have seen and read so much about how MSFS can run smoothly on so many different types of hardware.
