If it's like the UK and France updates then Orbx will update the landmark packs for anything that will be duplicated/a conflict

I like the selection of airports being done for the WU, hopefully as well the frame issue round Melbourne is fixed and we'll eventually see the landmark pack and hopefully an airport

Mason, I'd assume the team is only getting back to full speed after the Christmas period, and if you are after a roadmap, the 2021 only released in April, it may be the same this year, if they're doing one.

I'm hoping it come's to Orbx too, as central is preferred, I'm guessing it might not appear till the middle of the night (UK time), but I'm happy waiting as I bought LLBG from Aerosoft and it got released on Orbx 2 day laters

How do you know Orbx are aware of the issue before today? Terrainy may have not told Orbx…bearing in mind it doesn’t affect every install because for example my Samos works fine

Hi. Beedan, although Volanta devs may visit the forums, Volanta suggestions and issues are normally better handled on the Volanta discord, or through a ticket on the Volanta website

So, I’m fairly confident in saying it’s a sim issue, I have seen the same issue at other airports but not Samos, but I’m yet to find out what’s causing it

@pyreegueI know it isn't the most major issue and personally wouldn't want this to stop development of new airports but are you planning an update for UKBB? More specifically the jetways as they are still the default ones and you have custom ones at your other airports? Thanks

I've bought a lot of Orbx products since FSX and P3D and I wonder about the choice of sceneries.
I deplore the fact that there is almost nothing on the level of Orbx or FlyTampa (Corfu for example) for Madeira and also the regretted (for the simmers, not for the travellers ;-) ) Kai Tak VHXX airport.
It was already incredible to make a landing there on P3D, so I imagine on X-Plane.
So, how do we try to convince the professionals to do these two sceneries which are
a huge challenge to fly when the weather is bad.
The immersion would be really extraordinary if we had realistic scenery (especially in Madeira where you have to skim the the coast of the island to land on runway 05).
Now that I own a small house in this jewel of the Atlantic, I go there regularly and
it's just a pleasure to go to the airport to see the landings.If there is a problem with the financial return of these projects, I don't think I'm the only one who would be willing to pay to get that sceneries.
I hope that our suggestions will be heard by the decision makers at Orbx or other scenery creators, and I wish you all a great flight on our fantastic simulator.

It was mentioned on another thread that although developers sometimes take into considerations requests like these, often the airports chosen are airports the developers want to do, bearing in mind a lot of products on here are through 3rd parties or indi devs, so I would think only the airports created by Havant studios are chosen by Orbx, but how the studio decides which airports, I don't know.
That being said I would a Orbx LPMA (personally for MSFS)

Fumicino is being done by MKStudio's - I think they are releasing in Q1, also they have teased another airport in Ireland, I think it's Cork over Shannon, but I'd love Shannon for the BA A318 when we get it

Yes! I know it's a while off but it would be amazing if you could include the business park on the site with all the hotels and maybe a lightly detailed Donington Circuit off the end of 09? I've spent many a night in those hotels staying for an early flight or a day to Donington

I thought this would be the case, unfortunately even though MSFS has opened the world with it's scenery it hasn't stopped issues of older sims where we're unlikely to get airports in Africa/Asia/South America due to poor satellite imagery and inadequate photography. A few people have asked for airports that have been made already/in progress, imho, I would prefer airports that haven't been touched yet, as Carlos said, even in MSFS we have some airports with already multiple iterations where some big flight sim airports have been neglected, for example EIDW and EFHK have been mentioned but the current versions on Orbx are adequate and imo don't justify the need for a second version,
A few suggestions for the area you mention but outside the UK, Oslo, Bergen, Lyon, Valencia, Malaga, Hamburg, Venice, Menorca (unsure if any of these are wip/done)

I know what you mean, if EMA is chosen, at least along with EDI/GLA we'll have a few UK airports for heavies when they eventually release

if you are wanting to stay in the UK. East Mids, Doncaster, Norwich, Exeter, Jersey/Guernsey and a bit smaller but still great (and close to me) Humberside and Isle of Man.
If size isn't an issue, MSFS needs a high quality Heathrow,
If you aren't committed to the UK, then I have enough suggestions to keep you in business for decades

Not true, even though YSSY wasn't in WU7, there is a hand-crafted YSSY is one of the release versions of MSFS, that he's talking about
Generally I remove the hand-crafted airport when installing an add-on airport, this helps remove any conflicts
