A late evening flight from Skien (think I took off around at 21:00 hrs) over Kristiansand, ...

... the Varodd bridges ...

... towards Ryvingen Lighthouse, the southernmost point of Norway.

Heading north (for a while from that point...), passing Lista ...

Heading is 317°, so you can imagine the position of the sun. And we are on the northern hemisphere here...

Closing in to Stavanger. The full-fat regions are great.

Thank you, mates. Not easy to find weather with good visibility up there, I mostly have to fly as low as possible.

Top class shots Gerold.

We are the opposite here in Oz with sunset just after 5 o'clock.

I agree with you that full fat regions are great.

The C-47 is excellent too.

1) ... and the sun position gets even more exciting when you get further to the pole...

2) ... nice upgrades for most of the airports are included in these newer regions. Very helpful if you don´t wanna purchase dozens of airfields at the outskirts of the areas where you normally fly.

3) ... Manfred Jahn has done incredible work, the absolute top end of freeware I have seen so far.
