A Tribute To The Help From The Orbx Community

Hello my friends. This thread is a screenshot tribute to all the wonderful help I've gotten from the good folk in this community. This simulation I am doing here, in my humble opinion, represents my true ideal of almost the ultimate general aviation simulation thats available right now, in a powerful, fast, sleek flying machine.

Its a tribute to Orbx, REX HD Textures+Soft Clouds, ASN Next, P3D, F1 GTN 750/650 (with current airac data), FSUIPC, PrecipitFX, and Real Air. I consider PMDG and A2A better than Real Air when it comes down to it, but A2A sadly dont do a twin engine general aviation turbo prop, maybe one day :)

Im in love with the F1 GTN 750 and 650 series. So many features:

  • WAAS LPV Approaches
  • ADS B
  • TAWS
  • TCAS
  • Global terrain, obstacle, nav data
  • Charts with overlay of position for the USA, Safetaxi for USA

And the Turbine Duke, oh boy!:

  • Pressurised cabin
  • Cruise at 300 KTAS at FL230-250
  • Climb rate 3800FPM-4000 FPM pending conditions
  • Twin turboprop
  • Pretty much STOL capability with takeoff and landing
  • Icing control measures

Its pretty much my ultimate GA aircraft for something fast and sleek and practical. Only thing missing is for all weather performance is some sort of WX radar for microbursts microbusts etc

Some of the modelling like especially the engines is not at A2A quality but its pretty good

So thankyou to all of you! Youve all greatly helped me extend this hobby and get the best out of it, cheers!!!!
