Even Hell can look good

Thanks guys. :D

Gerold, I started out with summer time too, but it looked too drab.

And that's when I switched to winter time.

It looked better, but the "winter" sun was lower in the sky. Just barely below the far mountain peaks.

So I moved time back about 2 hours. And I loved the shadows! :)

BTW - The weather is courtesy of OpusFSI, as is the view from the back seat of the Beechcraft Bonanza V35b.

Thanks.

Isn't it interesting how a very uninteresting area can look good.

And trust me, flying IN the canyon is far more fun than flying over it.

Select runway 17 and take off from 25U.  In my P3d sim it's at a sharp upward incline, so select an aircraft with plenty of power.

Just over that ridge, the ground drops off. For quiet a way. So switch to an outside top down view. It's a VERY nice drop off.

Below you, you'll see a steep ravine. Turn left (east).

Within a minute or so you'll come to Hells Canyon. Turn left (north), and fly. :D

This is one of those flights that's GREAT in either a slow aircraft or a jet fighter.
