ba43
Folks, Return to Misty Moorings is eagerly awating the arrival of the new Homer airport and surrounding vicinity from Alex Goff coming soon from ORBX. We would like to invite all of you that make Homer one of your new destinations to stop by Halibut Cove. It's just a short flight or boat trip across Kachemak Bay from Homer and should fit nicely alongside the new airport. Alex was kind enough to stop by our forums at RTMM and mention the fact that PAHO has a small elevation change from default SAK but this shouldn't hamper any of our RTMM scenery that is in place already for Beluga Lake because our developer, Rod Jackson, is working on an update to our work at Beluga Lake and PAEN nearby. As a reminder, we released Halibut Cove for FSX and Prepar3D over a year ago and wanted to take this opportunity to re-invigorate any interested simmers out there that when you're visiting Homer, be sure to stop by and see Halibut Cove just across the bay from Homer Spit. Here's our previous thread here on the forums and thanks for your interest in RTMM. We've got a lot to offer for the ORBX community and it's all for free. VH-KDK
Many thanks for the reminder. I will have to go to RTMM to see what is on offer for P3D. Provided many excellent enhancements when I used FSX.
ba43
FYI, All of our scenery libraries have been updated into an easier installation process now. They've also been reworked to remove any redundant objects from multiple libraries and they've all been converted for use in all three simulator platforms. FSX, FSX/DX10 and P3D. Just make sure you start with removing any old RTMM libraries of objects in your present installation that contained our older FSX only objects. That must be done first. Then install our new object libraries into your simulator. That will give you the update you need to enjoy our scenery in any of those three platforms. You do NOT need to remove any previously installed RTMM scenery locations. Just the older object libraries. The RTMM scenery will display and look the same way as before. Actually that's not entirely true because it renders faster because the textures are now updated with .dds texture formats replacing the older .bmp format. So the scenery locations should be faster loading and you should see a smoother experience when visiting any of our locations. Especially the more detailed ones like Halibut Cove, Hollis, etc. Stop by our forums and let us know if you need any help and we'll be happy to assist.
