Rob Abernathy
These were taken in FSX with no outside weather or REX involved. Just straight from the V key. Having lived at the bottom of Heavenly Valley Ski Resort for a summer, plus many 3 day trips from the San Francisco area to Tahoe, I can vouch for the fidelity of this amazing scenery from Misha. From the airport to the shoreline, the Tahoe Keys, Emerald Bay, Fallen Leaf Lake, Stateline casino area, high granite mountains with many small lakes, there are many hours of exploration and enjoyment wrapped into this scenery. Great little flight plan would be to start at KRDD to KTVL and end up in KMRY for dinner! Doesn't get any better than this.

Jocko Flocko
Very nice. I bet this approach gets a little dicey in the winter when the winds get up, cool shots.
alexczarn
Those ground textures are something special.
Cabby
Actually, the hairiest departures at KTVL take place during Summer when the terms "high and hot" carry serious meaning. I have seen normally-aspirated GA singles struggle to lift off after seemingly rolling forever down the runway. That 6,300 ft. field elevation combined with an 80 deg. F OAT require some judicious leaning and paying attention to weight and balance before take-off. C.
