jack-daniels
hi there, here you can see how beautiful FTXG/Vector works together with a great german freeware airfield Can´t relly imagine how that final approach would look like with openLC ;-)
Dappers
Very nice shot! May I ask which airfield this is? Thanks!

jack-daniels
The airfields ICAO is "EDFA" and called Anspach/Taunus. It is located directly north of EDDF Frankfurt in the mountains "Taunus" near the VOR TAU(nus). You can download the airfield in a package with to other airfields, it´s called the "Feldberg"-scenery: http://www.flightport.de/feldberg/ (german only). ("Feldberg" is a famous and big mountain in germany).

Mallard
Great shot and an interesting link... Thanks for sharing. Mallard PS - our Feldberg here in the Black Forest is, by the way, 600 m higher, Germany's highest mountain outside of the Alps and probably therefore the more famous one

Adam Banks
Fantastic shot! I'm intrigued by the (realistic looking) colouring. What season is it? Is it summer or current? I'm interested as I expect FTX ENG to look more like this in winter/early spring than it does. Adam.
jack-daniels
Hi Adam, I´m not sure at the moment, either I´ve set it to March 24th or April 24th - it´s definitely in spring! (ENB is also in use...)
Adam Banks
Hi Adam, I´m not sure at the moment, either I´ve set it to March 24th or April 24th - it´s definitely in spring! (ENB is also in use...) Thanks for that - I'll set my FTX-ENG to both those dates and compare. I'm wondering whether default FSX plus FTXG actually does a better job (palette-wise) than FTX ENG (!).
