Neil
For those wondering why Norway, I would recommend the Braatthens video from Just Planes. It covers Aalesund, Bergen, Longyearbyen (a gem), Molde, Oslo and Tromso. If you don't want to fly in Norway after viewing this, there is no hope for you. The best thing is that there are some really interesting approaches into short (but 737 qualified) runways, without the large airport/urban areas that create OOM's for the NGX fans. I haven't loaded up FTXGlobal yet, but with a good mesh and some freeware, it will be my first destination, with the new textures.
bonchie
There's a region coming to. I've never flown there but will try some flights.

In case you haven't seen this yet: http://forum.avsim.net/topic/411852-norway/#entry2698913 Take note that in the meantime some addons have been updated, so make sure you download AoN, the photoreal scenery and the bridges from this link: https://skydrive.live.com/?cid=e0121e64dc8923ca&id=E0121E64DC8923CA%21105
