ShawnG Posted August 13, 2013 Share Posted August 13, 2013 From Riga on my zigzag tour across Europe I head to two destinations in Germany the now closed, but forever open in my sim, Tempelhof (should have flown a C-54 in there, ah too bad, and it would have been from the wrong direction) and the insanely busy Frankfurt-Main, Both airfields are freeware versions, Frankfurt is really good. and the Terrain is OpenVFR. I had a few OOM's on this trip, OpenVFR buildings, combined with the fact that I'm running OpenVFR right on top of an active UTX is I believe the culprit. but it looks really good. OpenVFR is not always stellar, but in germany with the buildings addon it's pretty special with FTXG on top. ShawnG Posted August 13, 2013 Author Share Posted August 13, 2013 I am dx10 so OOM's are not a usual occurrence. OpenVFR buildings is essentially a scenery object for every house in Germany. It looks great, but adds up to a lot, especially because OpenVFR sits right on top of UTX. double hit there too. no OOM's otherwise. thanks everyone for the comments!
