I have a bit of thing for the Beavers too..As to the dev. thing, i heard a rumour that AS were re-doing theirs up to FSX spec..Just have to cross our fingers...Got to admit i do like the default one in Kenmore liverie, just wish they'd provided a wheeled version as well . I have flown in the real thing, so I didn't like the default sound too much, it was too shallow for me. I missed the deep rumble. After some searching on avsim I found a suitable alternative and now I am happy with her. The VC is quite nice too.
