John Dow Posted October 24, 2022 Share Posted October 24, 2022 I'm nearly finished the southern France bush trip from Bordeaux to Megeve and wow what a trip! If you have time, do it! One of the airfields is almost impossible but I made it in and out, you'll know it when you get there. Anyway a bit further on is Corchevel high up in the Alps, you probably know it, with its steep runway, but I'll bet you didn't know that Saudia flies one of its large passenger jets (B777 maybe? I forgot to check). Yep, got to the top of the runway to park and there's this massive wide body airliner there. I suspect the ground crew were there to dismantle it and take it out piece by piece.
