wain71
Looking for a bit of clarity on the above airport. I use a program called A Pilots Life, this sets you up with a job and gives you schedules if you are not familiar with it (v2 coming soon). Anyway I have a job with a flight from EDDK to EDDK, however it says Schonefield as opposed to Brandenburg, am I correct to assume these are both now at the same location? I seem to think I read that the build of Brandenburg would also encompass the old EDDB into one location. It's just that the other week I had a flight into Tegal but the updated Nav data said it doesn't exist now, I guess it's because the program I use is older. Any help appreciated. wolfko
And also yes, Tegel does not exist any more as public airport. Only its northern area is now used as a military heli base.
flyingfish55
I heard only a few days ago from my Berliner friend that Tegel is also hosting a tented village for Ukranian refugees arriving in the capital. I enjoyed many a flight into and out of Tegel as I could sit in the Charlottenberg brewery keeping an eye on my delayed inbound flights from London. 1
