There is not an across the board problem with Orbx products and jetways as your post seems to suggest. mikee Posted August 28, 2021 Share Posted August 28, 2021 Have a look at my Shot ! Yesterday i did a flight and the Jetway was missing !! Today it is Visible !! Nothing to do with Orbx !! Same issues with Just Sim LCA and Vidan Designs Billund and also with JetSteams LFPO ! One day they are visible , the next day they are Not It is definitely Microsoft's and Asobo matter to fix ! John Burgess Posted August 28, 2021 Share Posted August 28, 2021 Jetways are a bit of a nightmare at the moment. The one thing I've found in testing is that if you change an aircraft the jetways generally don't appear correctly. If you then go back to the World Menu and start the same flight again keeping the same aircraft the jetways often then appear correct. As far as this issue is concerned it doesn't seem to matter which mode I'm in, the behaviour remains the same (second load of the flight without changing aircraft usually gets the jetways to appear). It looks like, as John says, it can be avoided by not changing aircraft during a simulator session. Nick Cooper Posted September 2, 2021 Share Posted September 2, 2021 Hello, further to the above, I find also that if I choose the aircraft first and then the start location in the Welcome screen, the jetways appear. If I choose the location and then change the aircraft, still in the Welcome screen, the jetways do not appear. It works every time. The answer for now seems to be: 1. Open the simulator at the Welcome screen. 2. Choose your aircraft. 3. Choose your start location. 4. Fly. 5. Do not change your aircraft during that simulator session.
