xFlynz Posted July 21, 2021 Posted July 21, 2021 Hi, I just purchased weather force through Orbx Central however upon launching the product its ask for registration (Username, Email & Serial Key) my problem is I never recived the serial key. It is rather disappointing to see is a common issues I have emailed both Orbx support and REX with no reply. Can someone please sort this issue out.

The only thing I can think of, is, did you previously have it installed before trying with Orbx Central?

Hi Doug, I have contacted them to which they replied if you go to Documents/REX/Weather Force there is a profile.xml with my serial key (I dont have that folder). I replied to them with no response. Now they are off for the weekend which is very annoying as I purchased the product now 2 days ago and it will be another 2 days before I even get a response. Also to answer that question you asked I have never previously had Weather Force installed first time was after purchase and clicking install via Orbx Central. Who handles the serial key being sent? Is it automatically handle with Orbx or do I get an email? Do you handle refunds or does REX? Cheers

Hi Orbx does not hand out serial keys when a product is installed via Orbx Central, that would most likely come as part of the install files from REX.

Nick Cooper Posted July 26, 2021 Posted July 26, 2021 Hello, I have just installed this to a newly reinstalled Windows. As Wayne kindly pointed out, the serial number should indeed be in C:\Users\your name (\OneDrive\) \Documents\REX 6\REX Weather Force\profile.xml. If the file is not there, please try verify files. If it is still not there, perhaps Windows is preventing Orbx central from writing to that folder. You may not have the OneDrive part of the path.
