KWVI is my hometown airport I was supposed to do my PPL checkride at KMRY as the DE at Watsonville was away, so flew over and the guy gave me grief about my logbook being an hour off ( it wasn't ) and wouldn't fly after finishing the oral. I flew back to Watsonville and the DE there had just flown in at the same time, so he looked at my logs, said it's 100% fine and let's fly.
