We've all been there and have the "T" shirt ....

Which one .... The one that says I spent a long time deciding on my screenshot for the contest :)

So I have decided that I most enjoy the end and the decision on which to vote for  as well as seeing if other members enjoy it.

But along the way I create a lot of rejects , so I thought it might be interesting just to post them:)

This time all are from XPlane 11.50rc3 with Southampton and TE GBS and are straight from the XPlane "V"key

Cheers

Pete

Just time of day lighting changes and a bit of "Renault pixie dust " for good measure.

I'm never to sure about Depth of field, so here is the same screenshot with it turned off

And perhaps my favourite time of day, just as evening is approaching ....

All beautiful shots! What clouds are you using in the first shot? They look great.

Thank you. I am pleased you enjoyed them

Its been a while since I have been using XPlane. If I remember correctly they are XPlane default along with some messing about I did with some .lua scripts quite some time ago now.

They can be nice for screenshots but are be a big fps hit (to the point where CTD's are the norm)  and finicky as the dickens to try to set up , so not really anything useful as a daily driver.

Cheers & Happy New Year!

Best regards

Pete
