jotaedo Posted April 12, 2020 Share Posted April 12, 2020 las time I left the Legacy parked at KHAF, half moon bay, and then started one of the most interesting experiences i had ever had in fligthsimming. let me tell you a litler bit about the next plane first, it's the diamond DA62 from Vertex, well known among GA flyers since its came from the 50% of the real air team. this particular add on was a gift from my girlfriend... why this particular add on, instead of for example a fancy Boeing or Airbus, please note she is a pilot also, so she new perfectly what we were taking about. a couple of months ago we planned a long IFR trip to the south of my country those of you who have followed my topics in the past will remember that i'm from Chile. Thing is she decided to took the ride in a C172sp fited with G1000 (yep, same avionics suite included in the VERTX plane), this trip was set to take part a couple of weeks before my birthday so she decided to make a gift, she bought me the VERTX plane telling me: this has two purposes, helps with your training for the flights and it is also an investment on my own safety (at the end of the post will leave you two links of IFR departures and arrivals of that actual flights) well back to the sim.... setting the G1000 ready for the trip on taxi..... some textures issues here... more of that later... and setting everything ready, btw great atc this evening in NORCAL are, again... thanks VATSIM and lift of and blasting out of Half Moonalmost immediately after take off ATC cleared us direct to Sausalito VOR (i should be writing for flying, don't you think? xd) and not many more screenshots because i spend most of flight on solid IMC finally leaved behind some clouds, I forget to check the oxigen and the hypoxia came, i was actually flying at 15000 , blackout tunnel vision, heavy breath sounds, this plane totally blown my mind today, i fixed descending, barely to 10000 with that issue solved climb to 13000 and prepare the approach about to land, by the way if anyone knows more about elevation issues on KTVL please let me know, also posted more details in the support forum and leaved KTVL next morning in the 172 for a trip to KBLU (and associated landing strips, more of that on the next post) As promised check a departure from my home town airfield, Aerodromo Las Marias, Valdivia SCVL and ILS approach to Araucania, Temuco (SCQP) that's all and be sure to check the last part of this tour here: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
