honestyflys
(Will provide screen shots) My ground textures at ESSA by Orbx are blurry, the ground is clearly a picture as you can see a 2D aircraft parked. When also moving further away, the runway textures seem to load in but don't look like the screen shots provided by Orbx. Also upon moving up into the air using chaseplane, you can see cars parked however, like the aircraft they are 2D and within the "photo" of the ground. - I have tried everything I could find, however obviously nothing has worked. Marcus Nyberg
Hi! Your Objectflow module is not working. Have you installed Orbxlibs? Can be found in ORBX Central. Also, if so, check in P3D under Addons so Objectflow is enabled? Cheers, Marcus
honestyflys
I have Objectflow installed, but I don't see it in the add-ons list. I think ESSA is installed into the sim and not from a library, should I change that? Cheers.
honestyflys
this is my add-ons list.
HansAga
Untill a few minutes ago I had exactly the same issue. Checked Libs and Object flow in Central and both yellow and present. At least I thought.... Object flow had slightly different yellow color than the rest installed. I only noticed the difference after increasing the brightness. Turned out, Object flow not installed... Problem easily solved with ESSA and most likely a lot of other airports. Advise for ORBX for older people like me, whose sight is not the best anymore, to make bigger color difference between installed and not installed please. honestyflys
I'm pretty sure my objectflow is installed, this is what is should look like right? I don't see Objectflow in my addons list though.
HansAga
looks like installed indeed. In my in-game add-ons section also nothing mentioned on object flow. Your thread helped me, hopefully someone here can solve yours as well..
Stewart Hobson
Normally P3D will ask you if you wish to enable Orbx Object Flow the first time it's installed. Did this happen and did you indicate "yes"?
honestyflys
I don't remember seeing this option, so I couldn't say if I chose yes or no, is there a way to enable it again? I assume I clicked no, as there is no sign of it in my add-ons. Also do I need the Global Base Pack for Orbx ESSA to work, starting to wonder if that is the issue? Jack the Swede in Spain
Open your sim open add-ons (main screen) and tick the ORBX Object Flow box. Jack
honestyflys
if you scroll up a bit, you will be able to see that Objectflow is not in my addons. Thanks for the help anyway, but do you have any idea why its not there?

The product page at Orbx Direct states that Global Base Pack is required. Not sure how you uninstall Objectflow, but it may involve uninstalling the OrbxLibs and reinstalling again. honestyflys
I can purchase the Global Base Pack, however Orbx Central doesn't show anything about need it (for me at least.) Also I have tried reinstalling Objectflow many times, will not having Global Base Pack cause the texture issues that I have?

It's the product page at OrbxDirect that states Global Base Pack is required. Also, there has been the suggestion that some airports don't trigger the installation of ObjectFlow. ESSA may be one of these, so the solution is to run Synchronize Airports from Orbx Central. See if that works. I can't really comment about the texture issues, but I would go ahead and buy Global Base, since it's textures are much better than P3D's default textures. honestyflys
Ok, thanks. How do I Synchronize Airports, is it in settings of Orbx Central? Edit: I have just "Synchronized Simulator" is that what your are talking about? Cheers
Stewart Hobson
Yeah, sorry, "Synchronize Simulator". I'm not on my flight sim rig atm, so couldn't check. How did that work out?
honestyflys
I think its working well, just loaded P3D up and got a message asking if I would like to enable Orbx Objectflow 2 Cheers mate
honestyflys
As an update I can confirm my textures no longer look like a sewer. Can't tell you how thankful I am. Soloution: Synchronizing Simulator from Orbx Central and re-opening P3D, pressing "Yes" to "Would you like to enable Orbx Objectflow 2"
Stewart Hobson
Sounds good. I think most of us who have Orbx products installed would still recommend installing Global Base Pack. But that's up to you, of course.
