CLS DC10-10 early evening flight from KLAX TO KSAN.

Instructional shot on how not to approach KSAN. Off center, nose too high, too low, too slow.

A 'P' key save necessary.

But an impressive amount of sheet metal hanging off the trailing edge!

No John.

I'm having a look back at P3D for aircraft I haven't flown for awhile & don't have in XP.

My aircraft ratio P3D to XP is probably around 25:1.

Also, I am having to reload a number of aircraft in P3D because after the Win 10 affair, P3D is slowly being rebuilt.

Plus quite a few aircraft were ok in P3D v3, but because I haven't flown them for so long, they haven't had their P3D v4.5 update loaded by me yet.

You did ask:rolleyes:

Cheers

You would not believe how big those flaps were.  I mean they were enormous, Lockheed really overbuilt this plane so it was incredibly sturdy and flew like a dream, very smooth flights.

Yes, the flaps look like repurposed barn doors.:)

It was an amazing plane.  You know the #2 engine?  It has an S duct.  That thing was so huge you could get lost in it.  And the metal around it?  At least 2” thick solid aluminum.

Are you sure you don't mean the L-1011 Jack?

I can see an S side on on that, the DC10 looks like its 'straight through'
