BobT
I'm enjoying 1S2 very much, looks great except for this very dark as in black mountain side that has no autogen...I find it sticks out like a very dark sore thumb. I can see a bit of texture there at high noon. Might be worth a fix? Other than that...fantastic! Cheers!
Gulfstreamtwo
Could be cloud shadows effect, especially since you have those foreground low clouds. Since you can't turn them on and off as in P3D/FSX, how does it look without the clouds?
BobT
Here it is with no clouds mid day. Probably could use a lightening up and cover it with trees...?
Smudger
Hello, have you tried Verifying Global and 1S2 ?
renault
Hi Bob Go into weather and visibility and set it to maximum of 160 km Its an oddity of XPlane. By default clear sky is a visibility of 40 km. Depending on the lighting angle, changing visibility to 160 km will change the overall scene lighting levels. Here are two examples (subtle but often is more pronounced than this) Cheers Pete Darrington at 40km visibility , clear sky Same position - visibility set to 160 km - more detail on mountain now evident

glightning
Hi Pete. Which profile are you using for your graphics / lighting? (I'm guessing you are using a x-vision). Are you using a bundled one like "impressive for lua" or are you using someone elses? I find my I can never it mine to look just a bright as in your pics.
