Magnum
Located in the center of Australia v2 the flight over TANBAR / YTNB involves a systematic crash. Reported by Tchoup I passed in this zone at vertical of TANBAR / everyone goes down. Try to get TANBAR back into your P3D and tell me what happens when you launch the flight. Nick Cooper
Hello, do you mean that Windows, P3D or your aircraft crashes please?
Magnum
Hi Just P3D / I'm not the only one to have noticed this phenomenon
Nick Cooper
Hello, good grief, you are quite right. If I try to load at YTNB, P3D v4 just closes down.
Magnum
Thanks Nick for trying. I just flew into the area and it crashed as soon as I approached the area
Nick Cooper
A temporary solution seems to be to remove the three YTNB files from ORBX\FTX_AU\FTXAUv2_05_SCENERY\scenery. Can you try that and see if you can then load there please?
Nick Cooper
Hello, then could you place the three attached files back into ORBX\FTX_AU\FTXAUv2_05_SCENERY\scenery and see if the problem has gone? Do not put the original files back. Thanks. ADE_FTX_AUS_YTNB.bgl ADE_FTX_AUS_YTNB_CVX.bgl ADE_FTX_AUS_YTNB_Objects.bgl

Nick Cooper
In that case, please place the three attached files into ORBX\FTX_AU\FTXAUv2_05_SCENERY\scenery. I will be surprised if it does not ask you if you want to overwrite, please answer yes.

Nick Cooper
Hello, there is a list of changes to be made in readiness for a service pack. It has not yet been issued and I have no feedback so far on a possible ETA.
captain4514
I bought Australia v.2 on October 4th 2019 and it still contains the two corrupted files. It took me many hours of testing before I discovered that being in a QW B789 at FL370 on the way from Darwin to Sydney also gives the CTD's. Finally I found out, thanks to QW support, that is not the plane but the ORBX scenery. ORBX should have done a far more better job. At least with a hotfix. Never mind, it works now. Thanks Nick. Dieter
- former error message deleted - I confirm, scenery is working with the new 3 bgl files provided by Nick.
Nick Cooper
Hello John, I identified the exact culprit in June and removed it from the airport files. The question now is can the files be added to the product download to prevent the error for future customers.
BVG-951
It is a shame this is not fixed yet, especially when Orbx new about 12 months ago.
Nick Cooper
Hello, it's fixed here. How many files do you have for YTNB please?
John Dow
Yes I just started a flight at YTNB and flew several circuits no problem. Maybe just a verify Files is needed?
BVG-951
Then if it is fixed why does it not work when you reinstall.
