Stewart Hobson
" Runway lights objects can now be selected in the Config Tool. They have no effect on the lighting but may affect frames." May I ask, what exactly are these objects? How do I know what I'm looking at when I see them? Stew

Urmel81
I think that are the approach lights. (in 3D from the old Version of ESSA - some guys missed them in V1.3)
Marcus Nyberg
The runway lights objects are the the 3D lamp-objects from which the runway lights are emitted. They were included in version 1.0 - 1.2. However, in v.1.3 we removed the objects as they use almost as many polygons as the clutter or vehicles. Note that the approach light objects are there no matter what option you choose. Depending on your system they may or may not have an impact on the frames so I added them again as an option. As the runway lights are not connected the objects they are just eye candy. So, hopefully everyone is happy now Here is an example of what you get if you tick that option:
Stewart Hobson
Thank you, Marcus, for the explanation. The selection off/on makes sense now. Stew
