Benny
Hi guys, I find those trees color (to pale) a bit annoying, they are everywhere in England, is this normal or it could be my PTA setting???? Anything that an be done about that? On the bottom of the image it's EGCW Welshpool, those trees are part of the airport package I think, way more decent color. Tim Harris
Hi Benny, Check 'Dynamic autogen vegetation' is unticked in p3d settings (requires a reboot of the sim to come into effect) If that doesnt fix it, probably something PTA
Benny
Thanks Tim, so it's not normal? Ben
Nick Cooper
Hello, with regards to the P3D light green "Speedtrees", that is normal because it is the P3D default setting as decided by Lockheed Martin. Most people agree that they are much too brightly coloured and choose to deselect the normal and replace it with the "old fashioned" trees. This then becomes their normal. Officer25
Yup, those are the "dynamic" trees provided by SpeedTree... not sure why Lockheed dropped the ball so hard on this one, they clearly don't fit in with the surrounding scenery. Maybe further revisions to Prepar3D will refine their appearance. I was interested in seeing how having actual moving vegetation would play out in the sim, and also how much of a performance impact they would have... but once I saw how much they stood out and detracted from the overall look I had to disable them as well. Jack
I'm having the exact same problem the trees are an awful unrealistic bright green. i unticked the Dynamic 3D Autogen setting and its exactly the same.

Quantum Amiga
LM are probably clapping themselves on the back about how SpeedTrees give them no support issues, not realising everyone turns them off.. hehe Cheers
