Hi guys, I find those trees color (to pale) a bit annoying, they are everywhere in England,  is this normal or it could be my PTA setting???? Anything that an be done about that?

On the bottom of the image it's EGCW Welshpool, those trees are part of the airport package I think, way more decent color.

Hello,

with regards to the P3D light green "Speedtrees", that is normal because

it is the P3D default setting as decided by Lockheed Martin.

Most people agree that they are much too brightly coloured and choose

to deselect the normal and replace it with the "old fashioned" trees.

This then becomes their normal.

Did you restart p3d after unticking the box?

I don't remember Tim, let me go try that

By the way Tim, your livery for the Twin Otter are they still available for P3D V4?

Thanks, Ben

Yup, those are the "dynamic" trees provided by SpeedTree... not sure why Lockheed dropped the ball so hard on this one, they clearly don't fit in with the surrounding scenery. Maybe further revisions to Prepar3D will refine their appearance. I was interested in seeing how having actual moving vegetation would play out in the sim, and also how much of a performance impact they would have... but once I saw how much they stood out and detracted from the overall look I had to disable them as well.
