Overall impressions?

Very well done Orbx!  I have a lot of exploring to do.  Had some FPS drops but that's no different than FTX England.

The city is very dense and highly detailed and I'd say highly recommended purchase.

Again, many thanks to the contest voters and Orb, it's very much appreciated!

Some great shots there Jack,

I can see your frame rates are low there because you increased complexity for the screenshots.; What FPS are you getting with extremely complex scenery, but with normal autogen?

I have TrueEarth south for XPlane which is fantastic with some great FPS, so I'm just wondering if it's worth getting for P3D or not, especially as there's 40% discount......

I've slowly been getting into XPlane recently and right now I'm seriously leaning towards keeping P3D for Oceania, and using XP for everything else.

Hi Terry, thanks.  Yeah, I always leave the complexity at the highest, even at the sacrifice of lower FPS.  I seldom change Autogen, I don't even remember what it's set to but I can check later when I get home as I have to go out in a few minutes.

Nice shot Jack, what kind of FPS du you get in general?

Ben

Hi Ben thanks, in this area with the FTX England and now this I get the same, it's always been lower even with FSX.  I reckon it all depends on your sliders.  Add weather and things really slow down but that's anywhere you have weather.

I'd say I on this flight I was getting between 6 and 18 FPS.

If that's the case I think I'll give it a while and see what others are getting because I get significantly better than that in TrueEarth South for Xplane, including ActiveSky, and UltraWeatherXP.

That said, great pics as always Jack :)

Looking great, Jack!  Have fun...make some sandwiches...for you're gonna be in front of the computer for some time...oh, coffee is good for all the hours throughout the coming night...lol.  Enjoy.

Thanks ONW!  I like tuna and green tea with honey.  But have real world stuff to do today.  I got up early to do this.  It installed in about 60 minutes or so.

Great shots!

However I have just installed TE for South GB into P3Dv4 and when flying over London, Tower Bridge , and the London Eye, are both missing!

I have tried putting scenery detail etc to maximum but they refuse to appear.

Any clues to what I may be doing wrong?

Wonder why?  I wish I could help with this.  I simply let Central do it and then it worked.  Please post this in support.  And welcome to the forum!
