Arkanoid
Italian WW2 fighters have a very elegant design, moreover, in the last stages of the war, it was a dangerous enemy for British and American planes. Macchi C.205 Veltro is one of my favorites.
VH-KDK
A beautiful looking plane indeed. Thanks for showing!
Rodger Pettichord
Not only was the plane a good one, but the early generation of its pilots were good too. They knew their plane and were quite daring with it. Their German compatriots in the Med used to take the cap position just to watch the Italians put on an airshow down below. Jack Sawyer
Very nice plane! But I'm fascinated that despite differences between the Americans, British, Italian, and German designs they all kind of have the same style. It's interesting to see the similarities and differences between these iconic planes of an era so long ago now.

Possible is due to that all the countries shared the same technologies of engines, aerodynamics and so on.

Jack Sawyer
Just now, Luis Lázaro said: Possible is due to that all the countries shared the same technologies of engines, aerodynamics and so on. That's what I was thinking and I like how despite sharing they all incorporated into their respective planes what they thought was most important. Aircraft evolution was very fascinating back then.
