P3D V4.3 Doesn't start

Recommended Posts

Hi

I've been trying to launch my sim today and it doesn't start...

It stucks here forever.

I did control+alt+delete to stop it and tried again (already three times after hours waiting for it to start) I flew last night and all was ok, went to bed and now I'm starting it and nothing happens

Any clues pls?

Thanks

This would indicate that your scenery.cfg file is corrupt or that you have perhaps placed

scenery below the P3D default scenery.

P3D has built a new one but it will only have default products in it.

You will need to run FTX Central to populate the scenery library with your Orbx products.

Thank you Nick!!!

It's running. You should have seen how I ate my breakfast while trying to fix this

What an odd thing. Why this happened and how did you know exactly it would get fixed by dealing with that file, pls?

Just now, Nick Cooper said:

Ok noted, no sceneries below default p3d sceneries so might be the corrupt theory.

I'll run FTX Central

When Ihaving the issue run the CCcleaner just to get rid of garbage, but noticed a lot of HighSim stuff to clean....

Anyway thank you for the guidance as usual

Hi Nick

After running FTX I launched the sim but ALL the addons added manualy or that were nor added by the xml feauture are gone ???

They were indeed a lot, it took me weeks to install them.

They still are in the addons folder but the sim doesn't detect them

Do I have to add everything again? These are all 3rd paty ones

Regards
