TerryM
Just thought I'd try Broome in X-Plane 11, to see how it compares to the Prepar3d version...... I have to say that I'm loving the lighting Terry

Jack Sawyer
Nice ones Terry! I too love the color. I wonder if I'll ever get the time on inclination to do more with it.
TerryM
I have xplane 11 but I hardly use it......curiosity got the better of me last night and I purchased XPlane YBRM to see how it compared to the P3D version. Whilst I still prefer P3D as the platform, the lighting and the atmospheric effects in XPlane just seem much better to my eyes.....I just wish they'd also concentrate on areas such as Air Traffic Control, and AI, to give us a more immersive experience, and then I'd switch, but not until. Watching the changes coming in FlightSim Expo this year regarding the physics engine, scenery packs and the move to Vulkan, things are definitely moving forwards quicker in the Xplane world though, than they are P3D... and these changes are coming in v11 so we should get them for free. It will be interesting to see what Lockheed Martin bring to the table in their next release if anything but the graphics engine is long overdue for an update.
