Jack Sawyer
I saw Ben mention in another post how to get to the sort order. So I clicked on the gear and saw it but it didn't look like my old sort order. I can post a screen if I need to but does Tongass still need to be between certain sceneries? Is there anything special I should know or is FTXV3 smart enough to know where to place what? Thanks.
Holger Sandmann
Hi there, perhaps this helps in terms of placing the insertion point markers: http://www.orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/108487-tongass-x-and-ftx/?do=findComment&comment=975652 Cheers, Holger
Jack Sawyer
Thanks Holger but although I have FRX I don't have the three letter "OLC". i have to go out but can post screenshots in a little while.
Stewart Hobson
Jack, There is no three-letter OLC anymore in the Central v3, merely all the OLCs are listed individually. You tell Central which item in the Library you want to place the OLCs below, in your case probably below Tongass_Fjords_Lower_Priority.

I'm gonna have a heck of a time taking screenshots. What I have to do is open the new V3 drop down menu but then I can't use the snipping tool. So I have to open the drop down menu, hit PRNT SCRN and then paste into Wordpad. Then enlarge that and then use the Snipping tool! Yikes, a lot of work. But I need to make sure I have them in the correct order as what Holger sent me.
anfield ace
In addition to the above, in FSX SE should the "Addon Scenery" line be placed above all FTX lines. or below?
Stewart Hobson
I believe it should be above the FTX entries.
anfield ace
I can't get the Addon Scenery line to move above FTX in Central 3 the best i can do is:- Various addons FTX 2 Tongass lines Addon Scenery OLC Edwards_AFB I'll leave it at that... anfield ace
It moves within the sim fine, but won't duplicate in Cenral 3!

Jack Sawyer
Okay, it took me all day, but does this look in the correct order? My overall scenery just seems off. I wonder if I have the wrong order. Thanks, Jack I deliberately skipped all the ones with numbers as I think these are probably the most important? Stewart Hobson
Jack: Your 3rd party airports, the FlyTampa stuff, the Marble Canyon, etc., should be above the FTX block. The OpenLC stuff should be placed just below the two Tongass Fjords entries. Check out Voyager's screen shots in this thread:
Jack Sawyer
Thanks Stew! I really appreciate this. I will have to do it in the morning.
Stewart Hobson
Good luck, Jack. I'll be out of town until Monday, so hope you get it sorted ok.
Voyager
Hi all, I'm sorry for the delay. I was traveling. Now I'm home and redid the table example of the new order in the "Scenery Library". Rest assured, despite being different, but it is well and works very well. Cheers, Voyager
anfield ace
Hi Voyager, In FSX SE i still can't get the addon scenery line to move above FTX in Central 3, it's sandwiched in between FTX and OLC above The two Tongass lines, still it appears to work OK, so I guess it's best to leave well alone!
