missleman01 Posted July 3, 2016 Share Posted July 3, 2016 To my surprise I had discovered an additional F-104 air defense squadron that had been stationed at Larsen AFB from '58-'60. Now Grant Co. International Airport. Stark and simple part of Washington State. Point defense for the atomic facilities at Hanford and the mighty Columbia River. I am enjoying this area very much. Wide open spaces to open up the throttle. Although I must say that modern state of the art aerodynamics leaves much to be desired. Much more than it once did...
