brycewalkerdenaviation
Hi I recently got a new system. Asking for other users opinions. In regards to installing ORBX/FTX sceneries and airports etc. What order should I install my addons to ensure my ORBX/FTX sceneries are installed correctly and avoid conflicts with other addons? I also use Holgermesh freeware. Other payware airports. Ozx Sceneries. Ants Sceneries. PMDG Aircraft, Flight1 Aircraft, A2A Aircraft, Aerosoft Aircraft. Cheers, Bryce
Triplane
Welcome to the forum(s). The order of installing the ORBX scenery really doesn't matter as the installers will sort everything out as it should be. That said, I'd install Global first followed by the LC files, then the Regions and the Airports last. Just my personal preference. OOPS! I just noticed the part about conflicts with the other sceneries. Someone else will have to have a go at that as I only have ORBX installed........ Stewart Hobson
Most non-Orbx addon sceneries install themselves above the Orbx entries. The only exception that I know of is Tongass Fjords. You have to manually install it below the Orbx stuff to avoid conflicts with the overlap with FTX PNW (or is it PFJ??)
spud
The ORBX definitive guide page 38 has a table showing the correct order for scenery in the FSX Library. Access it via FTX Central v2 lower left corner "ORBX GUIDE".
