wombat
Is the New Zealand for p3D v3 the same zip number on FSS as for P3D v2.5? I stared to download them and already have those zip files on my ex hard drive from v P3D 2.5 are the zip files the same name for both P3D versions ? NZ SI 130 NZ NI 110 are the files I find on FSS should I be downloading these for P3D v3?
Nick Cooper
As I understand it, if there is no change to the content, then the version number for the P3D v3 installer is not changed. The download files are named after the version number they contain.
wombat
thanks Nick, I will download both and it should show an option for P3D v3

Adam Banks
Nick, I also wish there was a way of knowing. Both my downloads came to around 6 Gb. Many of us are on data-caps of one sort or another, and I've always got my heart in my mouth until the actual install to see whether it actually is the quad version or not. I'd have thought a simple "q" suffix (or similar) to the existing version number wouldn't have been too hard (!!). If that's too hard, then amending the downloads page info to explicitly state that this version is P3Dv3 compatible might help. I must say, brilliant as ORBX scenery is, my experience with FSS over the years has been a far less pleasurable! Adam.
wedge1047
My system is to check the product page at FSS, if the v3 banner is displayed I assume the installer is correct. Its always worked so far. Cheers Reg
