    MSFS default live weather is also still in development and the API is closed for third party developers. So there is no chance that a 3PD will make an alternative.

    I thought the REX weather app is not 100% taking over the weather because of that closed API. Maybe a more intelligent way of drawing clouds?

    Also, like stated above, I believe the MSFS weather is pretty good with just some room for enhancements but overall, I am in no need of an external weather program.

    Are you meaning you uninstalled the CJ4 all together?

    If that is the case, you could try reinstall it from the content manager in the sim.

     

    You only had to remove the third party mods from your community folder in case you've had them installed. These mods are made as freeware.

    Don't worry John. Most of the knobs, handles, switches and gauges are "times four". You only have to learn one and copy/paste it to the other three. :)

    I've seen them flying back in the 70's and boy, was I glad they restored the XH558 to flying condition in 2009-2015 in which digital camera's reached their maturity.

    The version indeed is still v1.0.0 so there has not been an update for it, meaning the product remains troublesome in P3D v5.

    Good that you found that out. In the time I switched from v4 to v5 that incompatibility note was not in the description.

    I had a long topic about buildings HD not working correctly in v5.

     

    As for Terra Flora V2 vs Trees HD, Terra Flora V2 was initially developed by Turbulent Designs and then adopted by Orbx.

    According to the product page Terra Flora works with Global Trees HD but you may as well look which one looks best.

    I do know that Global Trees HD had a different texture structure than the default autogen which makes it more FPS friendly.

    I do not know if Terra Flora works the same way.

    I am an eye candy flyer so MSFS gave me a boost. I am only using the sim in winter time.

    During the spring, summer and fall I spend my time with photographing real military aviation.
    But, maybe when the novelty of MSFS has faded, I fall back in the same situation as I had with P3D 5.x and lose interest.
    The hobby is not as big for me as a few years ago and I do not invest much in addons anymore.

    I'm especially interested in the poly counts and texture updates of the VC on the new version.

    MSFS has a graphical quality as if you just can grab the knobs, handles, etc. right of the screen. I do not get that with the two 206's.

    I believe 3D models are also called mesh?
