  1. Everything which goes in the Community folder can be handled by Addon Linker.
If you setup AL, the program asks for your add-ons folder. These are the folders outside the Community folder where you install all add-ons.

You are not limited to just one folder. I have two:

A global one with Rex Accuseason, GAIST, FSLTL, libraries, Mamudesign freeware, etc. Pretty much everything which has global coverage in MSFS.

Next, I have a folder with my airplanes, airfields, patches, mesh, plane-mods, etc.

Each category has its own folder structure. For scenery, I have made folders by region and then sub-folders with countries.

I then can easily disable or enable regions in which I fly. Pretty much like FTX Central worked when we had to switch regions. It is not mandatory but it helps loading the sim faster.

Place , Plane , Mesh , Season ( Rex accuseason ) etc. that i want to a flight at that particular area of the world !

Then i want to fly somewhere else . Do i have to close my Simulator and do the same process again ?

Yes. MSFS looks at the Community folder at startup. So, everytime a change is made MSFS needs to be restarted.

One more question : When there are Updates : either from Orbx or from let's say Simmarket or Aerosoft etc.

Since all of my Addons are placed in the Addon Linker and in my Community folder it is just a shortcut , the Update will still be Succesful ?

If you have Orbx Central to install directly in the Community folder, there is no further action needed. When installing outside the CF, no action is needed if the file/folder structure of the add-on is the same. Otherwise, Addon linker will notice the change and comes with a reload suggestion. Most of the time it's best to delete the installed older version and install the new version. I do not know how Simmarket is working with their app, btw.

  3. The easy way to remove static is, to have them in a separate BGL file.

Having a separate BGL makes it possible to just disable them by removing/renaming that file.

Since I only just begun learning the MSFS SDK, I do not know if it was possible to have multiple BGL packages besides the modellib, etc. in a project in the first iterations of the SDK. If you want to remove the static aircraft in a single BGL airport, then you need the uncompiled XML file which is never part of an airport package when released.

At least, this is how I think it works. Still a novice at present. :)

  4. I just "purchased" KORS with my Orbs and I must say, it looks very rushed.

The runway polygons seem to just smacked on the ground and there's a big, uncolorcorrected patch which covers planes parked in the grass with a forgotten part. See picture, left of the helicopter. This, and the apron indeed kills immersion and is not Orbx style at all. Is this getting fixed?

This is exactly why I do not buy Orbx airports at the moment. :(

  5. The fact that the add-on filename starts with a 'z', tells me that the developer wants it on top of the rest of the scenery.

But what it is, I do not know. My Milford Sound folder is named sdr-milford-nodem, so your folder is not the version for people without the Orbx mesh.
