  1. There are many nice gems on "dot to", including Duxford indeed.
As Adam mentions, there are a lot of good bush strips but also seaplane bases.
The scenery is sometimes of quality which reminds me of the FSX/P3D days of Orbx.

I'm currently having a blast at LOIJ. Not only for the nice little airport but also for the great surroundings provided by MSFS.

  2. Addons Linker helps me with organizing my addons so I can find them pretty fast if they have to be updated.

Second, Addons Linker also makes it possible to install scenery on a different disc than where my Community folder is.

I do not run out of SSD space too fast then.

  3. Ok... I did not see that coming.

I mean, Unreal engine in a flight simulator. I do wonder however, how Blackshark and Unreal will work together since Blackshark might not be as detailed as the Unreal engine can deliver. Maybe up in the sky Blackshark and satellite images and on the ground all the detail of the Unreal engine.

That's exactly what Jörg ment when he said he wants more detail on the global ground in MSFS.

I doubt that it already will be effective in P3D v6 unless they already worked on this since going 64-bit with v4.

    Time will tell. Exciting...

Microsoft store. Updates etc were buggy but seems like it has all been streamlined in the latest update. Last update I opened the game, it said an update was required, I was presented with a download window, clicked on accept and an hour or so later I was up to date and flying.

Exactly my experience too. I never had any problems with MS-Store besides a little quirky install method but it looks like it is sorted out.

That depends in large part on your bandwith and of course also on your pc specs and your settings.

Could be but I see excellent PG cities (Barcelona, Orlando, Tokyo, Seattle to name a few) alternating with bad melted ones (London, Paris, Vancouver) on the same computer and same day. Microsoft (Jorg) already stated that it depends on the source they can get. The original Vancouver PG was better than the version in WU11.

I remember something Nick said a long time ago. Fly realistically at a VFR altitude of 1500ft and everything looks ok. Fly a few hundred fleet AGL then the buildings do and will look like jelly. I am happy at VFR 1500ft

True but in November, the helicopters make their official entrance in the sim.

Helicopters are often landing on rooftops, landing pads and free space in big cities.

PG is not suitable for this type of flying.
