does this scenery need updates to work with HF1?

    Hi

No it does not, it is working fine for me.

Please elaborate on what is not working.

How did you install the P3Dv5 HF1?

Please see the below from the product page.

This product has been produced by MK-STUDIOS. For MK-STUDIOS product support, please to go http://mkstudios.pl/support/index.php

    View MK-STUDIOS on OrbxDirect

    Screenshots are also very helpful.

  2. Hi

Below are mine as an example. Thousands of customers have provided us with these files so we can help them better, as there really should not be any privacy concerns.

We can not tell if your insertion points are correct without seeing them. We are not looking for things relevant to ESSA, we are looking to see what else could be causing your issue.

  3. Hi

No, Objectflow will not install to the scenery.cfg (scenery library).

It requires an external folder and will show in the P3D Add-ons list as in the image below.

So, you will need to go to settings/Libraries and create a new Library in a location of your choosing, this is required for the installation of ObjectFlow , then it will be installed and use 7mb of space in that new folder, and everything will work properly. You do not need to use this folder for anything else, Orbx Central will then give you the choice to install your products to that folder or to the root simulator folder, which is the scenery.cfg (scenery library).

    Thanks Doug,

that means that it doesn't matter anymore if a region is above or below openLC in the scenery.cfg?

No, that is not correct, the items that are in the scenery.cfg have been installed the old original way and the scenery order does matter, these items have been installed to the simulator root folder.

The items installed using the .xml method are installed outside the simulator in a library folder, with these items the scenery library order does not matter, these are the items found in the P3D Addons menu.

All the items in your screen shot are installed outside the simulator and will not appear in the scenery.cfg

The "scenery.cfg" and "scenery library" are not the same thing.

Both the .xml installed and the original method installed items will be visible in the scenery library.

The .xml items will show as greyed out, and can be activated/deactivated in the P3D Addons menu, and appear in the "addons-cfg"

But only the items installed in the simulator root folder appear in the "scenery.cfg"

When I started this issue my Orbx scenery was migrated to a separate library folder.  I have since removed all of my Orbx scenery, deleted the remnants from the library folder and reinstalled my Orbx scenery into the P3D main folder.  The reason was because with the scenery in an external library the Orbx scenery in the scenery library was locked in place and could not be adjusted.

When scenery is installed via .xml method in an external location, it does not matter where it is located in the scenery library, then these items can be deactivated or activated from with in the P3D Addons menu.

  6. Hi Guy's, welcome to the forums

With Orbx Central it does not matter what order you install in, the installer will always put the product in the correct location in regards to the other Orbx products. Just please take note of the below basics and the insertion point tool.

All of the Global and OpenLC products and the Orbx Libraries for best results should be installed into the simulator root folder, not a library folder separate from the simulator.

Ensure the Orbx Libs are installed and up to date, and I would do a verify files of them from within Orbx Central.

I would then go to settings/help and run the Sync Simulator function.

Then you can go to settings/Insertion Point and set them like this.

Ensure all of your 3rd party non Orbx addons are at the top of your scenery library and above your FTX entries.

Then in Orbx Central Insertion points "Orbx Airports and Regions”, put your last non Orbx 3rd party listed in your scenery library addon in the INSERTED BELOW window.

Then for the "Orbx Global openLC” ensure the Orbx Airports and Regions are in the INSERTED BELOW window.
