Hi
Ok, I have another idea...
Below are the files I have for KELN and KTNP, so maybe compare.
Or, do a full uninstall and reinstall of the TE SCA region, the CRM region, and TE Washington, except this time, do a search again for the KELN and KTNP and delete anything that is left over before reinstalling.

Hi
You will need to fix the issues that I have outline in your other topic to have success.
Mainly "Default Scenery" item that is supposed to be second from the bottom of your scenery library....is in the wrong location, and needs to be moved to the original location.
The Insertion point also still needs to be corrected.
So use the attached scenery.cfg and set your insertion point using KBNA HP in the top selection field on the Orbx Central insertion point tool as I have pictured above.
-
Thanks
But both the above problems I mentioned still exist and will cause problems if not rectified. the "Default Scenery" entry is in the wrong location, and needs to be moved to the original location as shown in my a above image.
And the Insertion point has no affect on your non Orbx items that are installed, it only places your Orbx products in the correct locations in relation to the rest of your addons, which is below them, and above the default base files. Right now, your Orbx products are below the simulator default base files, which is totally wrong, and places all the default simulator base files in priority to render on top of your Orbx products, which will place parts of default scenery in your Orbx products.
So use the attached scenery.cfg and set your insertion point using KBNA HP in the top selection field on the Orbx Central insertion point tool as I have pictured in your other topic YVR.

You are very welcome, and no, you do not need to do that every time, it is good now.
It will now keep all your non Orbx 3rd party addons above your Orbx any time you install anything.
You will only need to redo it if you remove the "JustSim-LTAI v2 P3Dv4".
-
Yes, that is now correct.
-
Hi Enes
No, do not delete anything, all the base files are required.
Also, your top insertion point is correct, but the bottom one is not, the bottom one needs to be left as it originally was as in my above image.
-
Ya, I am completely out of ideas for know.

Hi, welcome to the forums
Please have a close look at the below topic.

Please repost the three files I asked for above.
Your problem is not caused by Orbx products. My KSJC works just fine with no need to remove anything! Default files should not need to be touched if everything else is in order.
It would be really nice if those that insist on having that many (500+) different scenery items installed to there simulator, would put some effort into learning how to properly mange their scenery library to help avoid problems for others to fix.
But we will continue to try to help you manage your scenery issue.

I'd estimate the front wheel of that aircraft is about two feet off the ground.
I would estimate it to be maximum one foot off the ground, but regardless, I guess there is nothing we can do about it at this time.
-
Is this the issue you are seeing?
I do see the slight floating at both PAJN and KSUN, but certainly not 2 to 3 feet.
From inside the airplane I don't notice any of this and it does not affect the operation of the airport.
It is probably a compatibility issue with v5.3.
But lets ask @Ed Correia
-
Hi
Yes they are compatible.
-
Thanks, we have a couple of issues on our hands before we can even address KSJC.
First problem, the Orbx scenery insertion point is not correct. Please go to settings\insertion point and make your "KBNA HP" as your lowest non Orbx 3rd party addon as per the below image.
Second problem, The "Default Scenery" entry is in the wrong location, and needs to be moved to the original location as shown in my below image.
Then retest KSJC.
-
Thanks
I would also like to see the “add-ons.cfg” file.
-
Hi
Please post a copy of your “scenery.cfg” file and the “add-ons.cfg” and the “scenery_add-ons.xml” file found at C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4.
Please note: Do not open the files and copy and paste the contents, just attach the files.
-
Hi Don
Did you do a clean new install of v5.3, or just a couple of modules?
I did the complete new install and have no issues at PAJN, I am not in front of my FS PC at the moment but will check KSUN when able.
-
Hi
If you uninstall a product and then want reinstall it, Orbx Central will simply use the backup files instead of downloading the whole file, yes the terminology used by Orbx Central while reinstalling may say it is downloading, but it is not downloading the complete file, only any new or updated files.
So the benefit would be using less download bandwidth and time.

Hi, Seasons Greetings to you as well!
We don't want to rename any of those files. We were only looking for rogue non Orbx files.
The next move I would make is a full uninstall and reinstall of the SCA region, the CRM region, and TE Washington and anything else I missed that is in those areas of KELN and KTNP.
-
Sorry, but no, they are only static.
-
Nice detective work! I am sure it will be very helpful for others.

Please try the process in the below topic.

Hi Jerry
Orbx Central will install most all products to which ever method you decide. There are only a few that do not give the choice and you will be notified when you get to the choose location screen.
