My next move would be to do a full uninstall and reinstall of the SAK region and the PAJN airport.
-
Why not just create a library outside the windows file structure such as C:\Orbx, install all your Orbx into it and leave Lorby out of it?

I would also check all your drives.

I am not in front of my flight sim PC at this time, but is there any Orbx PAJN files? I know there would be in my system.

Hi Don
Possibly, but I have no experience with ADE.
It is not a wide spread issue, so ADE should not be required.
I still believe it is something specific to your system, such as another addon that is not reacting as required when unchecked\disabled in the scenery library.
I would next do a Windows search of your entire system for "PAJN.bgl" without the quotes, as in the below example image, and look for anything that is not Orbx.

Thanks
I see the Lorby tool has allowed you to install all your Orbx Products into the C:\Users\Adrian\Documents\Prepar3D v5 Add-ons\ file structure where they are not meant to be.
I do not use the Lorby tool so I am not able to advise much further, but I believe that it also allows one to alter the scenery layering\loading priority of all the .xml installed items, which also has the potential to cause problems.
Vector, for example is required to be installed and left exactly where and how Orbx Central installs it for it to work properly.
We have also found that Orbx items installed to the C:\Users\ file structure are often victims of Windows permissions issues. So possibly a recent Windows update has made the difference?
Everything would work much better if your Orbx products were installed and managed without the interference of another addon program.

Hi Adrian
I suspect it is the Lorby Tool that has allowed you to create your issue.
Please post a copy of your “scenery.cfg” file and the “add-ons.cfg” and the “scenery_add-ons.xml” file found at C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v5.
Please note: Do not open the files and copy and paste the contents, just attach the files.

Yes that is correct, PAJN has only static jetways.

Hi James
In your image SODE is showing as not installed. Please click on it and install it, or do a verify files of it.

Hi, welcome to the forums.
You will need to go to settings/Libraries and create a new Library in a location of your choosing (It is highly recommended to create the new library outside of the Users folder structure, preferably something such as C:\ Orbx Library), Then install ObjectFlow to the new folder, it will use 7mb of space in the new folder, and everything will work properly. You do not need to use this folder for anything else, Orbx Central will then give you the choice to install your products to that folder or to the root simulator folder, or to any other folder you have created using Orbx Central.

Ok, please cut and paste it to your desktop, then restart the simulator to let it rebuild a new one.

Thanks Don, sounds good.

I see you also have a TOPOSIM Terrain Mesh product installed, maybe try deactivating it.

Hi Don
No, that file does not apply to P3Dv5.
Maybe do a verify files from within Orbx Central of the airport PAJN, the SAK region, the Orbx Libraries, and Orbx Objectflow.
What you are describing has happened to me before, but not at PAJN. If I remember correctly it is a slightly common phenomena limitation of the simulator.
If you could do what you mentioned in your opening post, by flying into PAJN and everything is good after that, then setup a flight to save?
You could also post a couple screenshot of the airport and area, so we can confirm it is correct.
You could also please post a copy of your “scenery.cfg” file and the “add-ons.cfg” and the “scenery_add-ons.xml” file found at C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v5.
Please note: Do not open the files and copy and paste the contents, just attach the files.

Hi
If you navigate to C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v5...is there a "terrain.cfg" file in the folder? Or a "terrain.cfg.backup" file?
-
Hi
Check to ensure your mesh resolution setting in P3D is set to 5m.
Also, you could set up a flight in a position of your choosing with the aircraft firmly on the ground, and then save it as a saved flight to access when desired.

Hi
Not sure if it applies to your issue but maybe have a look at the below topic.

Thanks Tom, good news!
Also wishing you a great Holiday Season.

Ian
Yes, that is after adding Sydney Cityscape....before adding with the same settings and aircraft it was at 5.5GB used.

Hi
Please follow the process in the below topic.
PAJN Aircraft float off runway only when scenario is first loaded.

Thanks Don, at least some good news.
I have never used slew mode, but I will have another look at mine when I get a chance. I would normally just drive the aircraft from one end of the runway to the other and hope that works?
There are still limitations to the simulator, and in real life there are elevation differences from one end of the runway to the other that the simulator can not always compensate for.
