dead right Gerold - here's another view with my Citation 560XL - literally on Lift Off
and where Orbx includes most of the town.
Bundaberg's famous Pilot was Bert Hinkler - the first man to fly solo from England to Australia
and his plane is in the local museum
Perfect, thank you John!
So I have the chance to move back to real pictures. Shouldn´t be too difficult, as always.

Speaking of Orbx airports - I have quietly been revisiting my Library of them - including Aus V2 - keeping
a number of screenshots - and when August 18th arrives my first flight will be around my Antipodean country
once more - not only to see what MS have done - but to compare what we currently have - to what MSD is orffering.
Meanwhile - in the absence of a current Question - try this easy one.
Next guess from my side John: Bundaberg?

So it is okay to post screenshots out of the sim rather than real world photos?
You are correct Wolfgang, my intention was seeing real life shots of Orbx airports.
Let us try to guess the last one from @John Heaton and then only go on with real photos. If there are some more to come...

Hmmm, flat land, some tropical vegetation... I will not revisit some suspicious places but just throw a guess: Coffs Harbour?

Thank you.
its in NA
NA is too big for me to make a qualified guess... these 45° angled runways make me think of Chicago (O´Hare or even Midway), but I doubt it. Could you narrow it down with a hint?

Am I allowed to jump in here ?
Its and airport in an OpenLC.
You are welcome, Erhard. Quite difficult, maybe somebody has ideas from th 45° angles...

Since I have no more pics available, I'd say, @Stillwater should decide, whose turnn it is now.
Why not do it this way: Whoever posts the first riddle during Friday (each time), is welcome. If nobody has one, I´ll find someone... on my own HD...

That looks great John. And you may be living lonely enough to be Corona-safe.

Fantastic shots! But... where is it? I know the racetrack south of Alice, but there are too many houses in #1... And these crossed runways I do not remember at all..

Fantastic picture, John!
From the cars I guess this is not Japan or Europe?

Interesting question Lars. I will wait until the dust is settled, then we know how many problems come with fsxx. Be it hardware, missing planes or other add-ons or whatever.
And for this time, I would still be investing in p3d additions, especially from Orbx. And especially OLC...

Does really nobody (except Jarrad) recognize this place? Do you need a hint?

Good news for me, John. And probably for those waiting for the next pic. Here you are.

Just to keep this going, and without checking in the sim: Let me throw in Essendon?

The Ansett 727 is truely fitting to a 1970´s revival flight... as I do not recognize the airport directly, I´ll have to check the surroundings of some capitals...

Close but not quite. Think of the other major airport with a water runway.
Cheers Bernie.
Okay, that is a significant hint... I´d go for PAOH Hoonah?

I was not brave enough to guess the North American west coast...
And the most famous airport with a water runway to me is PAJN Juneau?

Turning back to the first question asked... while you, Bernie, are based in Oz, I can not remember many seaplane bases there... Strahan and St. Helens look different, and Rose Bay even more. Too hard for me...

As everyone is claiming this would be Busselton jetty, we could call Bernie the winner.
And we are happy to see a new picture by him, if he has some...?!

Boah, you are correct and fast. As I suppose you do not have pictures in stock, are you ok if I post another one?
