Well, for me for the last 6 months or so, I have been off the grid hiking, camping and Jeeping all around Utah, Colorado, Wyoming and New Mexico. Could be why you all haven't seen me around for a bit Just had to get away for a bit. Anyhow, I am back now, mostly...going on a 5 day river rafting trip in a few days, but then stabilized for a few weeks

I have not lost any interest at all....I just don't have a clue as to the answer But, still, very interested!

This is indeed, most exciting news! I think the development plan looks good, especially since the work on it will be more complex and difficult. At the end of the day, this is simply a huge plus for the sim world I still use P3D 4.5 and 5, and have only been dabbling in MSFS.

After Landon's post about the hill I was completely on the wrong track, assuming it might be Walter Sutton's.
But due to Greg's post about the logs I knew I was wrong.
Sorry to mislead you Wolfgang, not my intention. And yes, I can see how the hill near Walter Sutton's could have been the guess. But, that hill near 1S2 has messed with me many times when turning around to land, so that is how I knew which hill it was.
Cheers!

Come on Landon, don't be so shy.
Is this the hill which is modelled so superbly photorealistically well in the Orbx product?
It might be ......;)

Well, I know exactly which this one is just because of the hill But, I will let someone else have a chance at it before I put my answer out
Cheers!

Awesome real world pics Rob! Concrete has been one of my longtime Orbx favorites (there are so many!). I don't have any real life shots of Orbx airports, so I will have to defer to anyone else that would like to take a run at the next one.
Great choice Rob!

Okay, then my next guestimate would have to be 3W5 Concrete

similiar to the Hub used now to enable MS X Box controllers
be used in a PC - eg for the drone in MSFS
What hub are you speaking of for plugging an MS X-Box controller into a PC John? I plug my Xbox controllers straight into my usb ports on my PC and they work fine.

Wow!
Sounds like very cold to me. Six months!!!
I picture myself drinking lots of hot chocolate in a cozy chalet style house ( maybe not Sweden style houses but that is what came to my mind)
Cheers
Carlos
This Sunday and Monday time here in Colorado Carlos, it will be a high of 23 and a low of 6 degrees with snow. We have plenty of hot chocolate and a nice house. albeit not a chalet, but you are welcome to come and visit. I have a nice view of the Rockies
I will no doubt be spending some time exploring this airport scenery sometime during the next several cold months....when I'm not out skiing that is

Nice writeup, with lots of interesting information.

It's not too easy Gerold, I don't have a clue...

Some good guesses so far...gosh, there are several PNW, PFJ and SA possibilities with this one. I am going to guess....Bowerman maybe????

I guess that correct guess entitles Sniper31 to post a pic if he has one.....otherwise back to Stillwater....
The problem is I don't have any real world pics of Orbx airfields...plenty of non-Orbx airfield shots though. At any rate, I will defer to Gerold @Stillwaterfor the next shot

That is the right Payware package but not the correct name for the bonus airport that came with S93.
Rod
Ah, so the plot thickens....then I will submit that De Vere Field is the answer

This is looking mighty fine, and normally Florida has no interest to me...but, this could change that!

So far, when I forgot to hit the save button, I have always been asked upon exiting the menue if I'd like to save the changes.
Same here...and, I have not had issues either with MSFS remembering my controller assignments. It's all worked well for me

For me, I would love to see ENNK Narvik (probably my all-time favorite Orbx airport scenery. I would be ecstatic to see this scenery displayed in MSFS splendor. A few runners up would be L70 Agua Dulce, KSBA Santa Barbara and the all time Orbx PNW classic, 1S2 Darrington.

For the record, I chose to buy from Microsoft and have had to learn how to use the

Same for me...lol. A little bit of a learning curve there, but I got it sorted easily enough

Carlos, I was a Light Infantry dude for 28 years which meant I walked everywhere with lots of weight on my back before I retired (I am 50 now). So, yes, I am used to being active, but also living here in the middle of the region I live in, there is SO much to do outside all year round, that I can't help but being outside a lot. Still, I do love my simming. I just remind myself that I can sim for so many more years if I try to take care of myself in the process. It helps that I also love to run, hike, camp, ski and Jeep. The more I exercise the less I feel bad about spending large chunks of time in front of my PC. Just this morning I had an appointment with my primary care doc, and he kept saying that for someone my age, my blood numbers look great and to keep doing what I am doing. That was encouraging to hear
