Perhaps this rift will get resolved but anyway. . . . for anyone thinking about getting the latest from this fantastic developer, EGNX is a beautifully modelled airport and possibly the best yet from pyreegue.

Any news on why this excellent airport from Ken still isn’t on Xbox marketplace? It came out for pc ages ago and is on marketplace but only for PC. Ken’s other great airport nearby (St Helen’s) came out on marketplace for Xbox straight away.

That’s a shame as this is probably his best airport yet. It’s really fantastic.

But you’re flying on an old game now and all the new developments and innovation are going to be on FS2020 for the foreseeable. For me FS2020 isn’t just about wanting to keep up with the new thing. The experience of using it, especially in multiplayer and group flights is just far superior. Best guidance I saw regarding wives and flightsim (or any purchasing) is it’s better to ask for forgiveness than beg for permission! That sage advice didn’t come from my wife though.

All you need is some kind of marketplace credits on pc and you automatically then get the content on Xbox, I’ve got a pc and Xbox and only buy from marketplace as any purchases are shared. Yes you wait longer for releases and updates but. . . Markeptplace is much better than when the game first came out there’s an intention to have a free section also once the backlog is dealt with.

I get the impression Orbx ask the dev if they want to put it on marketplace, I think sometimes there’s some marketplace requirements that might put them off I guess. Always seems odd to me as marketplace has a massive reach now with all the new players on console, limited to content from marketplace.

Launceston looks awesome, can’t wait for it to arrive on Xbox!

Fantastic! (Fingers crossed) I fly it and IRL so I love seeing it at your beautiful airports. Normally devs just drop some TUI 737s in but your 787 was a great addition. Can’t wait for EGNX! It’s where I went for an interview for my first flying job so it always has special place in my heart.

Agreed! The released payware EGKK isn’t that great, had no updates since release and pyreegue could make this busy U.K. airport (once the busiest single runway in the world) awesome!

Agree with this! EGCC and EGBB aren’t awesome but I’d rather see stansted or east mids or somewhere like Newquay (EGHQ) done than Manchester and Birmingham redone.

Nice to see Glasgow update but has the TUI 787 gone? That’s a shame I thought it looked great sitting there ready for a longhaul departure!

Well yes but apologies, you obviously weren’t, it’s hard to tell sometimes on flightsim forums when people are talking about how real they think flight sims are.

Normally it would be a mayday initially to get attention and let everyone know what’s going on and then downgrade to a pan if it’s all under control. Some countries don’t really recognise a pan.

Nice video but surely if people actually wanted to know “what happens up in the cockpit when you are sitting in the back in economy class” they’d watch videos of real pilots flying real aircraft not flightsim ones?

I think the marketplace should include the static aircraft, on the pc you can have add ons lie, AIG traffic or aerosoft’s simple traffic but the marketplace has none of these so if you’re on the Xbox (and only limited to marketplace products) you end up with empty unrealistic soulless airports as the AI traffic looks so terrible in fake liveries.

Just bought GB north and it’s great. There’s a real lack of this kind of VFR scenery on the Xbox as we’re limited to the marketplace. Was hoping the canaries and Scotland (or even gb south) region packs would be coming too. Perhaps if GB north sells well then we’ll see it? I think seafront sims and the guy that makes the birds packs are doing well on the Xbox providing more VFR content for exploring. We’re also getting more France VFR products and packs appearing too. My view is the Scotland and Canaries both have great alrports now and have been featured in world updates so people will be drawn to these areas more. They’re also appearing in more third party add ons like the FS academy missions etc, City packs like Dubai or cape town look great and I bought Dubai on Xbox day 1 but the surrounding areas aren’t that great for flying and exploring. I expect after future WUs cover S Africa people will pile in and buy more content in those areas. Thanks for keeping us up to date Anna, Orbx products are always a marketplace purchase for me.
