Stillwater
This is part 3 of the Global Mesh SA test flights ( http://www.orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/97753-ftx-global-2010-mesh-screenshot-request/ ),the Drakensberg area: I left Harrismith over the Sterkfontein Dam lake, ... ... climbing to the Drakensberg area. Google Earth suggests there should be similar table mountains as in Monument Valley, but the sim is not as spectacular. Finally, the landing in Lesotho´s Letseng airfield gets a little challenge from the HD trees... I have never set my sim to South Africa before, perhaps this area should deserve more awareness. Gavin Stewart
Here's a few from my setup with a freeware mesh and some landclass: Cheers Gav
Stillwater
Gav, it seems you have the nicer cliffs. But.... is it a mesh or more a landclass issue? To me the altitudes seem comparable between the meshes. Difficult to tell. However, imagine having a 3D treatment like Yosemite here...

The meshes seem quite similar but the landclass certainly makes a difference. If this was in Yosemite quality...I would celebrate for weeks !
