VH-KDK Posted January 8, 2015 Share Posted January 8, 2015 Did a flight early on Tuesday morning then went out and did some gardening before the heat kicked in. Later, sat down at the desk but no Landline or Internet. Must be temporary problem. Checked outside later and a fibreglass board was bolted to the ground over the junction box. Phoned Telstra and reported a problem. Today Telstra came and fixed the phone lines which the NBN contractors had nicely ripped out of the ground and left. Don't know why the government projects always have to employ contractors who are cretins. Anyway 3 days of not having the internet are over. Herr is one of the flights I did yesterday from Bodo to Harstad Evenes, Norway 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10. 11. 12. 13. 14. 15. 16. This was only going to be a short test flight but as everything seemed under control I decided to head off and find an airport to try a landing. They have just been back with a large reel of yellow cable, working on the box but luckily all is still up and running.
