Adam Banks
I have a slight (?!) elevation problem in P3Dv2 around Hobart - Tasmania: Default (FTX AU disabled): FTX AU enabled - sunken bridge etc. My layers order: This is with the latest AU.003 (triple installer) and the latest libs. I tried with HolgerMesh enabled/disabled but no difference. Also re-installed AU from scratch. No difference. I don't have any Global products, so this is just FTX Central set to Oceania. NZ is fine, BTW. As far as I can make out, I think the rest of Australia is fine. My only other P3D compatible scenery in AU (Coff's Harbour) seems to be fine. Any ideas? Thanks, Adam. Adam Banks
Maybe I should have put this in the P3D section? For anyone that wants to take a look in theirs, the slew info is: LAT: S42° 52.00' LON: E147° 20.84' ALT: 477 FT MLS Mag 294 0.0 KIAS Just to reiterate: this is AU SP4.003 (triple installer) that seems to have installed OK - and other AU airports/seem fine. ORBX Libs re-run as per normal after install. Adam.
Wolter van der Spoel
I don't have P3D installed Adam, so I can't comment, hopefully some other Team members with P3D installs can comment
Adam Banks
I don't have P3D installed Adam, so I can't comment, hopefully some other Team members with P3D installs can comment Thanks, Wolter - hopefully, yes. It worked fine for me in FSX. I've compared the files and can't see anything obvious. Weird! Adam.
Adam Banks
Bump! Any chance of someone looking at this issue (please)? Tasmania is a gorgeous area to explore in the FS/ORBX world! Adam.

Adam Banks
mate try moving your holger mesh up the chain and see what happens i dont have AU installed at the moment but never seen that issue when i did..Thanks - I tried that - no difference. I thought mesh was always meant to go below anything else <?>. I'll give it another go though. Anyone that has AU installed (with or without Global) care to have a test? Adam. Ed Correia
Well it appears (at least does not appear) on my P3D setup either. The actual model doesn't display at all in P3D. I've just recompiled the library object as a P3Dv2 object, so just extract this tasmanbr.zip to ORBX\FTX_AU\FTXAU45_SCENERY\scenery
Adam Banks
Yay! Many thanks, Ed. I'll give it a whirl. Is it just that the bridge doesn't appear or is the elevation for that area wrong (causing it to be submerged)? The whole area around downtown Hobart looks very different to my FSX setup - I think. I still have my FSX intact on the same system, so will take a shot of that. I think I thought of that before, but my FSX has OzX scenery in it as well, which may have added other "ingredients". I'll post back my results - and thanks again! Adam.
Ed Correia
Hi Adam, its the actual model. My suspicion is that it's a FS9 compiled object (due to its age) from the VOZ days.
Adam Banks
Hi Adam, its the actual model. My suspicion is that it's a FS9 compiled object (due to its age) from the VOZ days. It's worse than that - it doesn't line up with the road one end : Just comparing the outside view with the (OPUS) map view, it appears the elevations etc. are all OK. The coastline seems right. At one time I thought maybe half of Hobart had suffered from some awful climatic change! If it's just a missing bridge, then I'm not overly upset - plenty of other nice stuff to enjoy! I may see if installing some of the OzX scenery for Tasmania helps, but I've been a bit anal about not mixing and matching too much in my otherwise clean P3D. Here's the same area in FSX: I think we can flag this one as "closed", Ed - it's really no big deal. Thanks for looking at it though Adam.
teecee
I have the same problem..but I also find that Wrest Point Casino is missing too..What with the loss of lights, missing objects, many effects not working and a CTD every time I try to load an airport in SAK (a sim1.dll problem I can't find a fix for) I am becoming heartily sick of Prepar3d V 2.4. and wondering if the problems negate the benefits.Teecee. Adam Banks
That's a shame, TC. My experience so far with ORBX areas has generally been good. I do accept that there may be problems with the older areas (like Australia) - and I'm not sure to what extent it's worthwhile/profitable to go back and re-do them, with resources appearing to go more towards the new areas which are, hopefully, more compatible with P3D. It must be frustrating when the newer areas have problems. I haven't got SAK, so can't help out in any way Adam.
