A little bit of weather today.

Have to work around the really rough stuff and deal with the rest.

But, she can handle it.

First time using HDR lighting. Kind of dark, but I like the looks.

Seems like the lighting brings out more detail in the clouds.

I'm using REX 4 for the textures and the Prepar3d weather theme of "Building Storms".

Hello and thanks RockStarofRust.

It's always great to get the chance to look at whats on the menu while the Little Lady isn't looking.

But, take care and watch out for teasers such as "Warning: Naked Beauty!"

The P-51 is just what the doctor ordered. A2A did an incredible job.

Now, if I can just learn how to keep her straight going down the runway!

Yes sir.

I'm a "trike" guy.

But, we'll get her.

The last time I taxied a Cessna 170, I was a "three ring circus"! People actually were stopping along the side of the road and were watching. I was so busy, I couldn't tell if they were laughing though!

Safe Skies...back at you.

Torque is a challenge indeed! Five or six degree right rudder and a little forward on the stick until the tail lifts!

I thought it was the other way round - keep the stick slightly back (to keep the tailwheel in contact, helping to keep the aircraft straight) ... until it lifts of its own accord, when you may need to quickly apply rudder.

Bah! What do I know though - armchair WWII pilot

Thanks Adam and Ken.

It takes a bit of aft elevator control, slow throttle input, pretty quick right rudder to about 5 or 6 degrees, and in my case.......a LOT of LUCK!!

A great machine!

Thanks all for the comments and Cheers,

Jim
