Jack the Swede in Spain
This how my PAJN looks! What is wrong? Jack the Swede in Spain
Wolter van der Spoel
to me it looks you have an elevation issue that is cured easy, go to => E:\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Scenery\World\Scenery look for ADE_FTX_SAK_PAJN_elevation_adjustment it should have a .bgl extension make sure you have only 1 file with that tag, if you find one with the .off extension just rename it to .bgl if you find two files with that tag and you are set to NA via FTX Central delete the one with the .off extension other option is if you have UTX installed to have a read here => http://www.orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/56683-ultimate-alaska-x-and-ultimate-terrain-x-canada-compatibility-with-ftx-southern-alaska-sak
Jack the Swede in Spain
Done EVERYTHING you have suggested, with no luck. Still same problem. I just UNinstalled UTX Alaska and.... no change.
Wolter van der Spoel
in that case you really screwed the install, set FTX Central to NA, fire up fsX close fsX goto => ...\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\ORBX\FTX_NA delete the FTX_AA_PAJN folder goto => E:\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\ORBX\Scripts delete the scenerylib_US_PAJN.cfg file rigthclick the FTXConfigurator.exe and run as Administrator, you will see nothing happening as it is a silent application. fire up fsX the scenery Dbase will rebuild, go to PAJN and confirm that PAJN is back to SAK version. close fsX Re-install FTX PAJN
Jack the Swede in Spain
Sorry, but no change. After doing everything, including: fire up fsX the scenery Dbase will rebuild, go to PAJN and confirm that PAJN is back to SAK version. Same problem with PAJN in th SAK version. Didn´t reinstall PAJN as I thought it might be a waste of time.
Bruce Hamilton
Try a restore point before PAJN was released, then set Central to NA and reinstall.
Jack the Swede in Spain
Ok, so I restarted my PC and did everything all over again and PAJN in SAK version looks OK. So I did reinstall PAJN and................. same problem again.
rockliffe
Jack, are you sure you are not using another third party mesh product?
RJ
I had the exact same problem today. Although JJJackson may have uninstalled UTX Alaska, it may have left some leftovers in Scenery\World\Scenery. Search for UTX_PAJN_ALK.BGL and UTX_PAJN_AP.BGL and rename both to .OFF. Fire up PAJN in FSX and see if it returns to normal.
jjjallen
I had the same issue but have not had it since uninstalling SceneryTech LC and UTX Alaska. Regards jja
RJ
I have all SceneryTech products but the only one installed is Africa. I have all UTX products and renaming the two files mentioned above solved my problem for PAJN. I didn't unistall UTX Alaska.
simrussia
repeated all that is written here in that case you really screwed the install, set FTX Central to NA, fire up fsX close fsX goto => ...\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\ORBX\FTX_NA delete the FTX_AA_PAJN folder goto => E:\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\ORBX\Scripts delete the scenerylib_US_PAJN.cfg file rigthclick the FTXConfigurator.exe and run as Administrator, you will see nothing happening as it is a silent application. fire up fsX the scenery Dbase will rebuild, go to PAJN and confirm that PAJN is back to SAK version. close fsX Re-install FTX PAJN I have the same problem use FS Global 2010 + SP1 + FTX Global 1.

Wolter van der Spoel
other option is if you have UTX installed to have a read here => http://www.orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/56683-ultimate-alaska-x-and-ultimate-terrain-x-canada-compatibility-with-ftx-southern-alaska-sak

Jack the Swede in Spain
Thanks guys! I guess I missunderstood Wolter when he said "ADE_FTX_SAK_PAJN_elevation_adjustment it should have a .bgl extension" that this ALSO means that there shoud OLY be ONE PAJN-bgl in that library. I had THREE, so I just set the TWO UTX-PAJN files to OFF and that did the trick. Very foolish of me NOT to notice that it said UTX in front of two PAJN files and deactivate them, but you learn as long as you live. Wolter van der Spoel
@ daniales, without SAK installed there will be some issues as PAJN is made to blend in seamlessly with FTX SAK @ lawson 23, For support queries please be so kind and add your ordernumber(s) to your Sig as per forum rules. Info on how to do that you can find here => http://www.orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/1157-important-notice-please-add-your-order-to-your-sig-for-support

Wolter van der Spoel
Hi Bill, could you post up a screenhot of that
fredl109
Hello everyone, I had this problem and I ended up solving it, but first I would like if you have a generator as air traffic Ultimate Traffic or traffic 360, if that is the case then you simply disable all airport in question in the list of those provided by the generator, and as you probably solved your problem. Best regards Fred PS: sorry for my bad english
