VH-KDK Posted July 6, 2013 Share Posted July 6, 2013 Back into the SAAB 340 flying for FlyBe from Kirkwall to Prestwick. 1. Taking off from Kirkwall in the Orkney Islands and heading south. 2. South Ronalsay is below the SAAB with the tank farm at Flotta. 3. A close up of the SAAB with Stroma . 4. Flying over Wick. 5. Approaching Lossiemouth with it's airbase. The old Milltown airfield can be seen on the left. Elgin is just beyond the aircraft. 6. Another view of Lossiemouth. 7. The Cairngorms. 8. Blair Athol is to the right with the River Garry and the A9 road. 9. Loch Tay. On the left of the Loch are Shee of Ardtalnaig, Creag Uchdag and Creag Ruadh. 10. In the Trossachs region with Loch Venachar and Loch Katrine in the distance. 11. Just above the aircraft is Loch Lomond, the largest Loch in Scotland. 12. Paisley and Johnstone are to the left with Glasgow behind. 13. Crossing the coast at Saltcoats and Ardrossan Harbour. 14. Royal Troon Golf Club is on the threshold of rwy 13.
