Orbxtreme Posted April 3, 2013 Share Posted April 3, 2013 Hello, Some of you probably know all those sites but for those who are looking for sites that give lots of infos and make your flying more interesting, here it is: 1) ourairports.com 2) skyvector.com 3) skybrary.aero In those sites you find almost anything you need to plan a flight, either in reference to aviation, weather, terrain or informations about a particular airport. Last week, I wanted to fly from Airdrie to Calgary and follow the highway until I get to Banff (the real weather was IFR in snow so I had to stay low level over the trafic). I used ourairports.com to crosscheck my progress and arrived in Banff, although this runway is something else to find during winter and bad weather (needed to overshoot and do another apch because there is a slope in the runway - I should have checked that too).
